Fulvio De Simoni began his career as a naval designer in Milan in the early 1970s at the studio of Alberto Mercati.
In 1977 he founded Yankee Delta in collaboration with Massimo Gregori, with whom he worked until 1983, when he became sole owner of Italprojects, a company specializing in the development of high-tech projects in the industrial shipbuilding sector.
During his long career, he has designed boats for many shipyards in Italy and around the world, which have built more than 3500 units based on his designs.
He has received several international awards and recognitions that testify to the quality and originality of his work.
His historical collaborations with brands such as Pershing, Antago, Mochi Craft, Ilver, Giannetti, Raffaelli and more recently with Wider, Rodman, Astondoa, Evo Marine, Aicon, Abacus Marine are representative.
A true boating enthusiast, Fulvio De Simoni has always fought against standardization.
He is an anti-conformist and not very inclined to compromise solutions, and does not like to follow already mapped out routes, approaching each new project without preconceptions
and with a concrete and constructive attitude.
The intuition and creative flair that characterize the initial phase of the work are followed by a long development in which the technical skills he has acquired in every area of boat construction
allow him to harmonize every aspect of the project.
The result is boats with simple, decisive lines that make the overall balance and stylistic coherence between interiors and exteriors their hallmark.
